About

I’m Vigen, a product designer with eight years of experience across crypto exchange, iGaming, and B2B SaaS.

I started in graphic design, found UI/UX, and switched. Designing something people actually use fits me better than making something that just gets looked at. I kept the craft from those first years — it’s useful when the product is complicated and the interface has to stay readable anyway.

The first thing I do on a new problem is try to understand it before I design anything. When someone disagrees with me, I want to know where the opinion is coming from before I argue back. Sometimes the reasoning is better than mine and I change my mind. Sometimes it isn’t, and then I say so clearly and design the decision anyway. Where that happened, I wrote it down in the case studies.

What I’m slow at: first drafts. I keep exploring instead of picking a direction, so the first version takes me longer than it should. I’ve learned to set my own deadline on that part and show something unfinished rather than sit on it.

I’m in Yerevan, looking for a full-time role — remote, hybrid, or on-site.
